should i use prism or modrinth?

prism is recommended, but modrinth may be easier to use for those new to modding.
the prism pack will automatically update, but the modrinth pack will need to be manually updated.

how to install with prism

• 1. install prism launcher
• 2. download the pack
• 3. open prism launcher and click "add instance" in the top left
• 4. go to the import tab and click the "browse" button
• 5. select the zip file you downloaded and click the ok button
• 6. launch the pack by double clicking it :)

how to install with modrinth

• 1. install modrinth
• 2. download the pack
• 3. open the downloaded file
• 4. accept the unknown file warning. this warning is because the pack was not downloaded from the modrinth website, but the pack is safe.
• 5. click the pack in your library
• 6. launch the pack with the play button :)
